The History Of Lench Service The story of local appliance centre Lench Service Ltd is an interesting one. What began as a small business in a spare room of founder Geoff Hunting’s house in Atch Lench , is now a thriving company operating all over the Vale.
It started back in 1960, when Geoff repaired vacuum cleaners and washing machines in his home. Due to increasing business, Geoff was able to move Lench Service to Port Street where it is still thriving today. Lench Service is a family business with Geoff’s son Paul also involved. Paul joined in 1973 and since his father retired in 2004, he has taken over the running of the company. He works alongside his wife Chris, who is company secretary. Although he is retired, Geoff still takes a keen interest in the business. As well as Paul and Chris, our team consists of shop manager and engineer Simon Webb, who has been with Lench Service for 20 years. We sell washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, fridges and vacuum cleaners. We offer a very personal service to our customers. We also provide a free local delivery service and can install and take away your old machine if required. We keep a large stock of spares and we have access to over one million spare parts, which are usually available within 48 hours. Lench Service also stocks over 200 types of paper bags for vacuum cleaners. We stock graded washing machines too, which offer massive savings because they have slight cosmetic damage. Domestic appliance repairs are a major part of the service we offer. Our Lench Service engineer will visit your home to repair your machine. Smaller appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, are brought to our shop to be fixed.
Good customer relations are of utmost importance to our team, with honesty and integrity being our priority. To find out about our products and services why not pop in and meet our friendly team or call 01386 443489. |
